Mosquitoes and other vectors can transmit diseases and parasites to humans, dogs, and horses, which is why it's important to control their populations. Worse yet, invasive (non-native) species continue to be introduced into the United States, and over time their range expands to a wider area. Some of the "newer" mosquitoes behave differently than typical mosquitoes, for example, breeding indoors!
N&R Publications works with local mosquito and vector control districts to inform local residents about how they can help control mosquitoes and prevent the spread of diseases.
