California has adopted a cutting-edge environmental goal of eliminating food waste from our landfills, in order to reduce methane gas, a major contributor to global warming. SB 1383 aims to extend landfill life, decrease harmful emissions, create compost, and provide food for hungry residents. But training people to properly dispose of food waste is challenging.
N&R Publications has created stories to inform and educate people about the right way to dispose of food waste. We work with local municipalities to develop informative pieces that celebrate successes while addressing the unique needs of each region.
