Air quality impacts our health in the Sacramento region. But with so many sources of air pollution, how do we begin to manage air quality to protect the ones we love? One answer is the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District. SMAQMD’s programs have contributed to air quality improvement in our region, including attainment of 24-hour ozone particulate matter levels.
